DESCRIPTION:Know Your Rights Training\nMTEA proudly offers Know Your Rights (KYR) virtual training on Wednesday\, October 28 from 5 – 6pm. Members will learn Know Your Rights information for home\, work\, school\, when in a vehicle\, and in public spaces. \nThe war against immigrants continues\, and we must be prepared with basic knowledge of our constitutional rights\, and those of our students\, co-workers\, and community members. With a massive increase (over $72 billion) to the Homeland Security budget granted by Congress this past spring\, we must be prepared to confront ICE in our schools and community! (RSVP link here) \nJoin us virtually on Wednesday\, October 28 from 5 – 6pm.  The link will be sent out in the afternoon of October 28.  Registration is now closed for this session.
