DESCRIPTION:Long-term care (LTC) has been called “the greatest uninsured financial risk today.” That’s because most costs for extended care needed during recuperation from strokes\, accidents\, illnesses\, and operations are not covered by health insurance or Medicare. Experts say 70% of those who reach age 65 will need some type of long-term care (LTC) during their lifetimes. Long-term care insurance may minimize the impact of any LTC expenses you may incur in retirement. \nJoin Eileen Dunn as she discusses options for elder care\, the role state\, and Federal programs in LTC\, and types of LTC insurance available. Eileen is an expert in geriatric and elder care and helps families determine the best options available for their loved ones. DESCRIPTION:MTEA Know Your Rights Training – In-Person on September 22\, 2025 or Virtual on October 6\, 2025\nMTEA proudly offers Know Your Rights (KYR) in-person training. Members will learn Know Your Rights information for home\, work\, school and public spaces. \nThe Trump administration aims to stoke fear in immigrant communities across this country through its complete disregard for due process to deport people who are undocumented or in the process of obtaining legal status. \nAll of us have constitutional rights we can exercise and the right to a free public education\, regardless of legal status. MTEA members will not let fear win!
