Know Your Rights Training

MTEA proudly offers Know Your Rights (KYR) virtual training on Tuesday, September 29 from 5 – 6pm. Members will learn Know Your Rights information for home, work, school, when in a vehicle, and in public spaces.

The war against immigrants continues, and we must be prepared with basic knowledge of our constitutional rights, and those of our students, co-workers, and community members. With a massive increase (over $72 billion) to the Homeland Security budget granted by Congress this past spring, we must be prepared to confront ICE in our schools and community! (RSVP link here)
